Hurry up Spring

Well, since my last post, the seedlings have really taken off.  I can't wait to have a peanut harvest! So different than just my regular veggies.  Here is one of the peanut seeds that have sprouted.  Pretty much all of them have now started to sprout, along with the other seeds I planted.

Hopefully after this last snow... yes, snow, I will be able to plant more in my new raised beds.

Also, my chickens are little egg laying machines these days.  I pretty much get 7 or 8 eggs a day from my 8 chickies. 3 Red Stars, 3 Orpingtons and 2 Sebrights!  I'm getting a large collection of eggs in the fridge... time to make some creme brulee again and maybe some quiche!
